"SEE YOU AT THE POLE"

My Heart was overwhelmed this morning as I watched our teens gather around the flag pole at the High School. Not ashamed to stand and bow their heads and offer prayers for their school, teachers, students and government. What an awesome site to witness, Praise be to God for faithful teens willing to go the extra mile for Jesus.
I want to share and read from Phillippians 1:3-6 (NIV)
I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I will always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
amen.
Joy is an integral part of our salvation in Christ. It is an inner peace and delight in God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and in the blessing that flows from our relationship with them.
Joy in the morning! That's I what I felt as I stood and admired the teens while I prayed for them, walking in circles covering them in love and protection and thanking God for these teens.
Blessings,
Peggy Lee

Morning Word

Psalm 37:7 (NIV)

Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him

Waiting patiently for him, we must be still and stand in the faith while waiting for God to bring justice and to vindicate us. Patience while undergoing trouble or suffering is possible through the Holy Spirit's help.
In this world there are times of heartache and pain that we all go through, we want to feel like someone is fighting for us. We want justice and the ones who hurt us to pay. But only God can serve justice and we have to stand back and be still while God protects us. In our human nature that can be very hard to swallow.
During those sufferings, the Holy Spirit will help us endure those heartaches, words that cut deep to the bone. Be ashore that God is with you in these times, He is fighting our fight.

I remember as a child in my sufferings hearing a small still voice (I am holding you). To a child that is all I needed at those darkness times. I didn't understand but waited quietly for I knew somehow that the pain, hurt and suffering would one day end. God has set me free. And I am no longer in that dark place. Amen.

Blessings

Prayer tonight at church was awesome, just what I needed to start my week of getting the girls off to start school.
My church family is outstanding and our Pastor Jim does such a amazing job preaching God's word for us. I am so blessed.
The end of summer was spent finishing our living/dining room walls and spending time with my girls, now we are getting ready to get back to a routine and schedule and boy I need that.

Blessings,
Peggy Lee
